SA has a lot to learn on university–industry collaboration – Pandor

South Africa has a lot to learn from Japan as far as university–industry collaboration is concerned, outgoing Science and Technology Minister Naledi Pandor said on Thursday.
Speaking at the South Africa – Japan space science colloquium, held at the University of Pretoria, she said South Africa had been slow in supporting spin-off companies and commercialising intellectual property.
